Massive Social media reaction to Lance Armstrong's Dope 'admission'

Oprah Winfrey's interview with disgraced former cyclist Lance Armstrong has generated a social media frenzy, with people all over the globe reacting to reports the former seven-time Tour de France winner has come clean over allegations of doping. Using her own personal Twitter account on Tuesday, and in an interview with CBS, Winfrey appeared to confirm reports in the U.S. media that Armstrong -- who overcame testicular cancer before going on to win cycling's most prestigious race a record number of times -- had confessed to the use of performance-enhancing substances. Oprah tweeted @Oprah Just wrapped with @lancearmstrong More than 2 1/2 hours . He came READY!
And then Piers Morgan replied her tweet; @piersmorgan Congrats @Oprah on your sensational @lancearmstrong scoop. (This is said through severely gritted, envious teeth). #LiveWrong

Armstrong's "admission" prompted a wide range of comments on CNN's Facebook page -- proving the Texan continues to divide public opinion. As CNN's John Sinnott highlighted, the Armstrong scandal has laid bare the demise of an all-American hero. On a visit to Armstrong's home city of Austin in October, however, Sarah Holt found a community still standing by their man. CNN's ever-reliable iReporters have leapt at the chance to share their views on the issue. Do you agree with Ringsfamily in San Diego, who submitted this iReport on why she stopped wearing a Livestrong bracelet once the extent of allegations against Armstrong came to light.
