Abdulrasheed Maina
A Federal High Court Wednesday in Abuja set aside the warrant for the arrest of the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform, Abdulrasheed Maina issued by the police at the instance of the Senate.
The court also issued a perpetual injunction restraining the Senate from ordering the arrest of Maina based on the warrant already set aside by him.
Justice Adamu Bello who made the order said that even though the Senate had the power to summon anyone, that power was not absolute.
