Mr. Danbaba Suntai
The raging political crises in Taraba State continues unabated, ailing governor of the state, Mr. Danbaba Suntai has announced the dissolution of the state executive council. Announcing the dissolution Wednesday while briefing pressmen at the executive council chambers in Jalingo, Senior Special Assistant to the State governor, Chief Sylvanus Giwa said all the Special Advisers have also been relieved of their appointments.
Thanking them for their contributions to development of the state, Giwa stated that they are to hand over to the permanent secretaries of their various ministries. He further disclosed that Suntai has approved the appointment of Barrister Gebon Timothy Kataps as Secretary to the State Government and Mallam Aminu Jika as Chief of State saying their appointments takes immediate effect.
