At least nine suspected cultists have been arrested by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Enugu state police command. The arrest of the suspected cultists was preceded by the arrest of their suspected ring leader, identified as Mba Chukwuemeka, a.k.a, Dontiti by the operatives. He was arrested by the police at about 7 pm on Tuesday at Ngwo in Enugu State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, Ebere Amaraizu, (DSP), who confirmed the incident, disclosed that following Mba's arrest and subsequent revelations other suspected members of the group were nabbed.
The police gave their names as Ndubuisi Agu, a.k.a. ND, Ugochukwu Nnadi, a.k.a, Kola, Ani Chigbo, a.k.a, Akin, Onah Chukwuebuka, a.k.a, Ezekudene, Onyeka Okeke, a.k.a, Balogun, Okwor Afamefuna, a.k.a, Austie, Orji Anayo, a.k.a, Anaete and Offor Ogbonna, a.k.a, Mako.
