EXCLUSIVE: Finally, Kidnapped Council Boss, Bamigbetan Regains His Freedom

By Chiemelie Ezeobi

Contrary to earlier claims making the rounds yesterday that the kidnapped Chairman, Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Kehinde Bamigbetan, was released, I can now authoritatively tell you that he finally regained his freedom at 11.45pm last night.

The victim was kidnapped on Tuesday night few meters away from  his residence at Ejigbo  and stayed in the kidnappers den for four days before his release.

Although I could not ascertain how much that was allegedly paid as ransom, I however gathered that they had reached an agreement with the kidnappers as to terms of payment as of Friday and they had agreed to release the victim once the payment was made.

I cannot categorically say that ransom was paid but from all indications, it might have been because he was finally released. And guess what, they gave him a car to drive himself home....imagine that!

Don't worry, will get all the details this morning after sunday service.
