Kano: Scores Feared Killed as Security Operatives Raid Boko Haram Hideout

The Joint security Task Force in Kano in the early hours of Tuesday raided a house suspected to be hideout of Boko Haram members. It was also  gathered that  scores of suspected Boko Haram members were killed at Gayawa village in Ungoggo Local Government Area of Kano State.

A resident of the area who pleaded for anonymity told reporters that the suspects were killed during an early morning operation. He said  that during the operation which lasted for many hours, gun shots and several bomb explosions were heard in the village.

Pregnant Woman, 5 Others Die in Auto Accident


Chaos erupted Tuesday at the Oshodi area of Lagos State when a speeding truck driver conveying sand to a construction site, crushed a pregnant woman and five others to death. This came barely a day after a tanker laden with water crushed five primary school pupils at the Ajah area of Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.
