Father Arrested for Alleged Rape of 16-year-old Daughter

He bid his time and when the time came, he seized the occasion of the wee hours of the day when others had slept to have carnal knowledge of her.

But he never reckoned with his daughter’s bravery not to be cowed by a father who had violated her trust, a cardinal principle of father-to-daughter relationship, by reporting the incident to the police. Following her report to the police, Sodimu is now in custody until he clears his name.
