Taraba Assembly Gives Suntai Conditions to Resume Duties

Governor, Mr. Danbaba Suntai 
Recuperating Taraba State Governor, Mr. Danbaba Suntai, who returned to Nigeria on Sunday after 10 months in Germany and the United States where he was receiving medical treatment, may not return to work so soon as the state House of Assembly is indisposed to grant his request expediently. The governor, in line with Section 190 of the 1999 Constitution, had written the legislature to inform it of his return and readiness to resume his official duties.

CG Immigration Orders Dismantling of Illegal Toll Gates

The Comptroller-General of Immigration Service, Mr. David Parradang,  has in line with his  zero-level tolerance policy on corruption, ordered the immediate dismantling of all illegal toll gates erected by officers of the Service (NIS) across the country.
This was contained in a statement signed Wednesday  by the Public Relations Officer, NIS, Mr. Chukwuemeka Obua. Parradang warned; “on no condition should any officer solicit for any form of gratification as a condition for performing his lawful duties”

The raging political crises in Taraba State continues unabated, ailing governor of the state, Mr. Danbaba Suntai has announced the dissolution of the state executive council. Announcing the dissolution Wednesday while briefing pressmen at the executive council chambers in Jalingo, Senior Special Assistant to the State governor, Chief Sylvanus Giwa said all the  Special Advisers have also been relieved of their appointments.

Police EXCLUSIVE: Police Foil Plot to Kidnap Young Shall Grow Boss, Kill Two Suspects


The Area E Command of the Lagos State Police Command, Monday, engaged in a gun duel with an armed kidnapped gang who attempted to kidnap the Chairman, Young Shall Grow Motors at the FESTAC Town area of the state.

Led by the Area Commander, Area E Command, Dan Okoro, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), the police operatives had engaged the gang in a gun duel and  felled two of the suspects while the other members of the gang fled to safety.
