James Ibori
Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court Abuja  Friday deferred judgment on the controversial  $15 million allegedly abandoned by the former Delta State governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori. The judge had initially promised to deliver judgment  Friday. The suit was filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The commission sought  an order to forfeit the money to  the Federal Government. The court will now deliver the judgment at a date to be 'communicated to the parties.' The verdict would also put to rest claims and counter claim being laid on the money by several interest groups and individuals.
