An Abuja Federal High Court Friday awarded the controversial $15million bribe money linked to the former  Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori,   to the Federal Government. Justice Gabriel Kolawole while rejecting the Delta State claim to the money ruled that the state government failed to prove that the money actually belonged to it.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had claimed to have received the money   from an alleged agent of  Chief Ibori in 2007 to influence the commission’s probe against his  administration.
