The embattled traditional ruler in Osun state, the Alowa of Ilowa-Ijesa in Obokun Local Government Area of the state, Oba Adebukola Alli who has been standing trial for allegedly raping an ex-corps member, Miss Hellen Okpara who served in his domain in 2010, will on October 8 know his fate.
Presiding judge, Justice Oyejide Falola will be delivering the final judgment of the three year old case at a High Court sitting in Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state where the judge was transferred.
It would be recalled that the accused monarch's counsel, Taofeek Tewogbade had at the last sitting applied for an extension of time to enable him further convince the court that the traditional ruler was not guilty of the alleged offence notwithstanding his confession that he made love to his victim.
