President Goodluck Jonathan, who spoke last at the funeral mass of
Yakowa held at St. Paul's Catholic Church which lasted more than three
hours, cautioned the elite class in the country from making unguarded
utterances that are detrimental to the progress of the nation.
The funeral which turned out to be a gathering of a large number of
politicians, kicked off at about 10:21 when the body of Yakowa arrived
the church.
Shortly after the mournful event started, Bishop Mathew Hassan-Kukah of
Sokoto Catholic Diocese threw barbs at the imaginary Kaduna Mafia for
their role in fanning the embers of religious intolerance and worship of
greed.
