Kola Karim
Kola Karim is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
of Shoreline Energy International Limited and Shoreline Power Company
Limited.
Karim graduated from City University London with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Law in 1988.

He has attended management courses at the Harvard Business School, and
also obtained an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK in 2007.
Karim has partnered leading international companies, including Aggreko
International, Petrodel Limited, Siemens, Ericsson and Motorola.
He started his career at the Guardian Royal Exchange, United Kingdom,
which he joined in 1988 as a Trainee Manager shortly after graduation.
He later played a senior management role at the prestigious HK Beaumont & Associates, also of the United Kingdom.

Karim was the Trainee Manager, Guardian Royal Exchange, from 1990-92, and joined HK Beaumont & Associates, from 1994-99.
He successfully managed HK Beaumont & Associates UK from 1990 to
1992, where he was said to be responsible for managing pension and
investment for institutional and personal clients.
After he left Guardian, he established Koda Trading Limited, which
specialised in Shipping. The company was also involved in trading bulk
feed stock raw material, as well as importation of heavy duty machinery
and equipment.
He was in charge of operations of the company in shipping, trading,
bulk feed stock raw material and importation of heavy-duty machinery.
Karim is also a Director of Industrial & Mechanical Services
Limited, Davof Technical Services and Fortis Construction Limited.
Since March 2008, he has been a Director of Nigerian Ropes Plc. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Ecobank Nigeria Plc.
Before becoming a Director of Costain West Africa Plc, Karim had served
as its Non-Executive Director since February 2007. Currently, he is a
member of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria (IoD).
He is currently the chairman of the board at Costain, and had served as
its Deputy Chairman. Karim, a polo buff, is patron of Lagos Polo Club.
