The peace tentatively enjoyed by Plateau people in the last couple of weeks may have been cut short by the brutal murder of at least six persons in Gwande village of Manguna district of Bokkos Local Government Area, of Plateau State by unknown gunmen in a gale of attacks, forcing the residents of the area to flee their homes to safety.
This may have stunted the peace efforts being made by the state government towards resolving the protracted crisis between the Fulani herdsmen and their host communities in the state.
