EXCLUSIVE: NSCDC seals compounds where stolen pipeline products are stored

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command has sealed up two compounds at Ishawo, Ikorodu LAgos where NNPC pipeline vandals normally transload stolen products from vandalised pipeline.

The commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Lagos State Command Mr Adesuyi Clement Dayo ordered that the compounds be sealed following a tip-off and inspection of the area by the commandant.


The Commandant who led a team of officers to the area last Friday recovered 121 jerricans of 50litres of the stolen products in the compounds.

The products has since been transferred to the NSCDC command with one Mr Shola Adelaja, the landlord of one of the buildings house owners Mr Shola Adelaja.

The Commandant plead with community leaders and well meaning Nigerians to help the corps in the fight against this nefarious activities by giving the corps useful informations.

The Public Relations Officer for NSCDC in Lagos, Mr Mefor Chibuzor, said the corps observed that vandals have been succeeding in the area from the support they get from the community
