The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three cultists in Lagos including a 200-level student of Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Olashete Olawale. The other suspects were identified as Seyi Adewunmi and Idowu Gboroki.
The cultists who were arrested on September 30, from the Epe area of the state, were said to be of the Eiye and Aiye Confraternity. Although one of the suspects, Olawale admitted he was a cultist belonging to the Aiye Confraternity, he however said he was not a murderer.
Ozoani said investigations are ongoing to mop up other cult members, adding that the suspects would be charged to court for prosecution once investigations have been concluded.
