Indications that all is not well with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerged as some governors perceived to be pro Governor Chibuike Amaechi were absent at the family dinner hosted Thursday  at the Aso Rock Villa by President Goodluck Jonathan to mark the mid report of the administration.
Only the governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu sent his deputy, Musa Ibeto to represent him. Those absent are the governors of Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, Adamawa, Kano and Adamawa States. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was also absent. No reason was given for their absence.
Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Amaechi did not attend because he is under suspension by the PDP.
Governors’ present are those of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross Rivers, Ebonyi, Enugu, Bauchi, Katsina, Plateau,
Kaduna; the deputy governor of Benue and the acting governor of Taraba State.
