Simon Kolawole Live!: By Simon Kolawole, Emailsimon.kolawole@thisdaylive.com
Does President Goodluck Jonathan sleep at night? Does he not have nightmares? Does he not wake up midnight, sweating and screaming? I have had to wonder at times - given the groundswell of opposition against him. On a daily basis, opposition keeps landing body blows on him. Opposition from within and without. If I were Jonathan, I would feel intimidated. He once described himself as the most criticised president in history. I don’t know about that. We are in the age of the social media where citizens’ messages are neither censored nor limited by time and space; the loudness and speed of travel of their voice is electronically accelerated and amplified, unlike in the past when citizens simply gathered around vendors’ stands to analyse and criticise their leaders.

Its RECYCLING TIME AGAIN AS JONATHAN APPOINTS TUKUR CHAIRMAN, NATIONAL RAILWAY CORPORATION

Alhaji Bamanga Tukur

The Federal Government has once again proven that the era of recycling old and over used products will never end, Barely days after the former National PDP Chairman, Bamanga Tukur was kicked out, the President, Goodluck Jonthan has appointed him the chairman of the. national Railway Corporation. By this action, all those who think the railways would be reactivated better have a rethink cos they are on a long thing. As far as I am concerned, the railway revival is DEAD ON ARRIVAL cos the Tukur we know would never amount to any good there.

In Search of LifeLine for Goodness

Goodness
He was born with a defective intestine which has sentenced him to a life of passing out wastes from the stomach instead of the normal physiological path for five years. but with corrective surgery, baby Goodness would go back to normal life and live like other children, writes Chiemelie Ezeobi

For most people, little thought is given to bowel control and movement as it’s just a natural phenomenon that takes place after digestion. However normal that is for others, the same does not apply to 5-year-old Goodness. But that was not always the case for him.
When his mother, Florence Nkemachor, noticed the signs of pregnancy in 2008, like any new mother, she battled with morning sickness and other effects associated with pregnancy and took them in her stride.
