Still on the matter of the boko haram suspects that were arrested last Thursday at the Ijora area of lagos, my sources told me that the armourer who was nabbed in the joint raid became a father hours before he was arrested.
It was gathered that the wife went into labour about five hours before the security personnel raided the house and picked her husband in connection with a plot to bomb 16 landmarks in the state simultaneously.
A security source who was involved in the raid said they refrained from arresting the lady with her husband as she was still weak from the pangs of labour.
Explaining the reason behind their actions, the source said the lady was suffering from the after effects of childbirth and so they left her alone.
He could not however determine the sex of the child as it was all wrapped up.
Also, he said they left her behind because she was not their target during the raid, rather the husband from their intelligence, had fingered him as one of the masterminds behind the operation.
Although the current whereabouts of the nursing mother has remained unknown since her husband was nabbed, the security chief assured that the lady would be found and picked up if need be.
