Finally, House Impeaches IMO Deputy Gov



Finally, 25 out of the 26 lawmakers in the
Assembly voted in favour of the impeachment
of the Imo State Deputy Governor,
Jude Agbaso. 
The Assembly had served Mr. Agbaso, a
notice of impeachment over the allegation that
he demanded and collected N458 million bribe
 from J-PROS Limited, a construction firm 
handling the rehabilitation of Sam Mbakwe Road
 in Owerri, the state capital. Meanwhile, Chief
 of Staff to Governor Rochas Okorocha, Eze
Madumere, has replaced him as Deputy Governor
of the state. Meanwhile, Agbaso denied
collecting the bribe as alleged.
