Super Eagles and Chelsea FC forward, Victor Moses, is on the
radar of new Everton Manager, Roberto Martinez, to shore up ‘The Toffees’ ahead
of the new season, even as Jose Mourinho is been speculated to be considering
the 2013 Africa Nations Cup winner surplus to requirement at Stamford Bridge.
Martinez, who was a key influence in developing Moses’
career at Wigan and likes his ability to play anywhere along the front line, is
reported to be willing to splash £10million (N2.5bn) on the winger.
The new Everton coach is also interested in Moses’ former
teammate at Wigan, James McCarthy. United Kingdom’s The Daily Mail reported Sunday
that ‘The Special One’ is not considering the exciting Nigerian as one of his
options, as he looks to revamp Chelsea in this his second coming.
Moses had joined Chelsea from Wigan Athletic but has found
League appearances few and far between, as Rafa Benitez limited him to mostly
Cup games.
