It was not surprising to say the least at the names released by President Goodluck Jonathan for a fresh ministerial list. It was simply a case of recycling old hands. In the list were all one-time persons who have been in government in times past.

Senate President, David Mark, read the names to the senators on Tuesday at the plenary.
Other nominees are Alhaji Abduljelili Oyewale Adesiyan from Osun State; Ambassador Aminu Wali from Kano State; Alhajia Jamilia Salik from Kano State; and Mrs. Akon Etim Eyakenyi from Akwa Ibom. Also on the list are Lawrencia Labaran Mallam from Kaduna State; Dr. T. W. Danagogo from Rivers State and Asabe Asmau Ahmed from Niger Niger State.
