EXCLUSIVE: Lagos PRO's Father Dies

Lagos PRO, Ngozi Braide
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO),  Ngozi Braide, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sunday lost her father, Chief Cypril Uzoma Nwadike, who was said to have suddenly slumped and died in his hometown in Imo State.

The deceased was until his death said to be in perfect health and gave no inkling to any health issues or alluded to any sickness.  Confirming the incident, Braide said her father died at the age of 67 after he slumped, adding that the death was sudden and unnatural as he was not sick before his death.

She said, "My father was not sick in any way. In fact, he was hale and hearty. There was no symptom of any sickness before now but he just slumped and died.’’

She however said the family is still trying to come to terms with his death, adding that the burial arrangements would be announced later after the family must have dialogued.

Meanwhile, the officials and members of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN), yesterday expressed their condolence to Braide and members of her family as to the sudden loss of their father.

In a statement made available to THISDAY by CRAN President, Mr. Christopher Orji and signed by the association's secretary,  Mr. Moses Omorogieva, the association condoled the spokesperson.
He said, "We wish to condole the PRO and her family members over the death of their father, Chief Cypril Uzoma Nwadike, whose sad event happened in Imo State on Sunday 21st, 2013.

"We pray that the good Lord would grant Chief Nwadike eternal rest, while He comforts the PPRO and family members. We urge the PPRO to take solace in Christ.

" God knows everything from the beginning of the world. We enjoin the family members to keep on the good works their father was known for. CRAN members share in their grief."
